Course testimonials…

“Alicia’s wisdom and engaging teaching style were an amazing resource to get started with wild gardening on the land where I live and in my community. She transformed my understanding of what landscapes can be and how to support complex webs of life. Her expert and wide-ranging knowledge of native plants, and her cultivation of many key species, made it possible to create significant changes on our modest in-town plot quickly and enjoyably. Having completed the Wild Garden Workshop last Fall, this Spring I am seeing all kinds of new native plants come up. What I have learned is already rippling through my neighborhood and community and will continue to grow.”

“I found Alicia's class to be one of the best-organized, best-paced, and most practical of the many I have taken over the years on related topics (gardening, native plants, medicinal herbs, etc). She is an excellent & patient teacher and is both passionate and dedicated to helping native pollinators thrive in our region. I highly recommend her class!”

“I loved Alicia's class. I've been a gardener for a long time and taught environmental education so I have some familiarity with plants and ecology, and yet I learned so much from her class. She knows her stuff and shares many research studies that back up what she is teaching. I loved that each week we got to apply what we learned in class to where we lived and ultimately ended up with designs of gardens for pollinators for our sites. I've planted several gardens that I designed and they continue to delight me. Thanks, Alicia!”
